Consulting Department based in Warsaw is looking for candidates for the position of ‘Integration Engineer in Software Development & Integration team’.

As Integration Engineer in Software Development & Integration team you will take part in design, integration and parameterization of financial risk management IT systems.

The Software Development & Integration team designs and implements IT solutions using the cutting-edge database and software development tools. Our customers are offered the services concerning design, deployment and implementation of integrated business solutions based on products of various third-party suppliers. Solutions and tools we develop support everyday business activity of clients, mainly from financial, industrial and telecommunication markets. Scope of the solutions we offer includes specialized IT systems and tools used by financial entities to support credit, market and operational risk management. As a team member you will have an opportunity to familiarize with modern technologies used by banks and insurance companies, use the methodologies for designing and implementing specialized IT systems and take part in projects for top financial companies in Poland and worldwide.

Scope of your tasks will include:
• Implementing and configuring IT solutions according to customers’ needs;
• Integrating implemented solutions with source IT systems;
• Testing the systems implemented;
• Preparing the trainings for end-users of the systems implemented;
• Analyzing and documenting customers’ functional and technical requirements to the target IT solutions;
• Designing IT systems according to functional and technical requirements gathered;
• Constantly acquiring and developing skills and knowledge on financial companies’ needs and business environment, particularly in the area of risk monitoring and management.

Requirements:

• Technical or relevant Degree qualification
• Basic knowledge on administering UNIX systems (user management, file management);
• Experience in Programming UNIX shell scripts;
• Experience in C/C++ programming;
• Basic skills in administering Oracle databases (user management, backups);
• Knowledge of SQL language (knowledge of PL/SQL will be an advantage);
• Ability to read and understand the existing source code;
• General knowledge on financial risk management will be a plus (risk measures, pricing financial instruments, types of financial instruments, Basel II Accord);
• Graduates with university degree/technical qualifications (computer science, mathematics, technical sciences etc.) or people with maximum two years of professional experience;
• Spoken and written English.
Remuneration and level will be commensurate with candidate's experience.
