Lecture (e-learning): 1. Introduction to algorithmics. Representation of engineering processes in the form of algorithms. Ways of writing algorithms. Issues of correctness and efficiency of algorithms. 2. Python 3 programming: runtime environment, language elements, types and? Data structures, standard libraries. 3. Example numerical calculations on engineering issues. Laboratory: 1. Formulation of algorithms and their representation in the form of block diagrams. 2. Familiarization with the selected programming environment, running the first programs. Variables and arithmetic expressions. Standard input/output? communication with the user. Data types? Limitations of computer calculations. Arithmetic operators, logical operators, assignments. Control? If- instructions, for-loops, while loops. Functions and program structure, argument passing. Input/output operation file access 3. Implementation of algorithms on selected engineering issues in Python programming language. 4. running and diagnostics of programs. 5. Acquiring the ability to perform engineering calculations independently using their own programs and supporting software in various computing environments.
